The story of a boy's journey from a secluded orphanage to stepping out in the world and trying to find his balance in the unknown. The movie is powerful in the portrayal of how life experiences can change a person and even bring him back full circles.
An amazing movie with an outstanding performance by Michael Caine (as expected) and Toby Maguire who truely matured as an actor after this movie.
