Review of The Cider House Rules (1999) by Christopher S — 12 Feb 2012
Great direction by Lasse Hallstrom. Michael Caine was amazing as the kind doctor and caretaker, as was then young Charlize Theron as Candy. Tobey Maguire was not bad either as Homer Wells. Great script adaptation by John Irving from his novel, one of the better adaptation of a novel I have seen considering the film was only about two hours long.
Great pacing and cinematography.
