Review of The Chumscrubber (2005) by Jamie T — 23 Oct 2008
Kick Camila Belle and her fetid acting skills off the ensemble and this movie would've been great... no, that's not enough.
How about hire another screenplay writer just to make sense out of the mumbo-jumbo that the original screenwriter Zac Stanford indited in his script? No, that's not enough.
How about we just forget about the fact that this movie even existed and watch a more satisfying indie cult thriller instead, a film like Donnie Darko, perhaps? YEAH, I think that will do.
CHUMSCRUBBER is a BIG RIP-OFF, that's all there is. I can't believe that topnotch actors such as Ralph Fiennes, Glenn Close, Allison Janney, Carrie Ann-Moss and Jason Isaacs signed up for this BLANK and SENSELESS tripe.
