Riddick, the character from the movie PITCH BLACK (a fairly standard SF monster movie), comes out of hiding to aid a planet against the advance of the evil Necromongers. Spectacular action sequences, and the changes of science-fiction locales were great: from an oppressive underground jail on a sun-blasted planet to deep space to a developed world.
