A mediocre sci-fi action movie that isn't really an better or worse than the first film (Pitch Black). On one level it has some interesting and unusual ideas (though flawed), but on the other level it's a routine action vehicle for Vin Diesel.
The only thing I really like about this film was Thandie Newton - she's cool!
