Am I risking ridicule and scorn by declaring that "Riddick 2" (the BD director's cut) is not just better than "Pitch Black", but is also among the most enjoyable and underrated sci-fi potboilers from the last decade? Its Macbeth elements work pretty well, and the Necromongers are a great creation: Part Teutonic Knights of the Crusades, part Harkonnens, part NFL.
