Review of The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) by Mark N — 10 Apr 2012
A lot of fun if you connected with Riddick in Pitch Black and like your Sci-fi with a dose of action, fantasy characters and fancy helmets. The effects early on have not stood up well but after the first act things improve massively, the story gels and Riddick gets to shine the way we love best.
Linus Roche's death is the standout moment where he channels Roy Batty for the most memorable sci-fi death scene in a decade.
