Review of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010) by Marilena G — 20 Oct 2011
Absolutely nothing like the book. Whoever wrote the script completely butchered the original plot. The book is about Caspian going on a voyage to find seven lost lords, not about Caspian going in search of seven swords to break an ancient curse.
Practically speaking, I can't live with any of the changes they made because they're terrible! Will Pouter made an excellent Eustace, and that's the only good thing about the film. They also missed the point of why the four Pevinces were sent to Narnia in the first place: that by knowing Aslan for a little in Narnia, they might be able to know him better in their world.
