Review of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010) by Infinitycore — 19 Feb 2018
"Everything is wrong here", to quote Kryten from "Red Dwarf". Seriously, this movie is about as accurate as a blind sniper trying to hit a fly from 1000 yards with a blunderbuss. It's as if the writer skimmed the book and thought, "ok, the story needs this, this, this, and that" and then crossed them off on a checklist just to fit them into the story.
Keep in mind that this is the second longest story (surpassed only by The Horse and His Boy), and yet it is the shortest movie of the three that have come out. This is my favorite book series, by the way, and I thought the movies couldn't get any worse than Prince Caspian, but Holy Crap this proved me wrong.
At this point I have to wonder if anyone who made this POS had ever even read the series at all. Shame on you in particular, Doug Gresham. Your stepdad is rolling in his grave. If you want a better adaptaion of the story, check out the Focus on the Family Radio Theater version.
