Like the other Narnia movies, it's just ok. There are some decent special effects, and the characters are likeable enough. But it's hard to get as connected to these movies as the books. If they are going to continue making the rest of the series, they need to find their own identity.
It feels like the filmmakers borrow things from Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, even Star Wars. So this feels like a re-hash of other, better movies. It's not bad, just could be better.
