Review of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) by Baurushan J — 18 Jan 2013
Based on one of the most famous children' s novels of all time, the fact that this was turned was turned into a live action adaptation, just the name- The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe gets me excited with kid-friendly fun.
The story is about four siblings named Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy who are sent from London to the country estate to ensure their safety during WWII. The house is very dull except for a large wardrobe discovered by Lucy during a game of hide-and-seek that there's an alternate universe called Narnia ruled by a lion named Aslan voiced by Liam Neeson at the same time cursed by the White Witch played by Tilda Swinton.
Now the children must fight alongside Aslan for the Salvation of Narnia but Edmund may fall for the wrong side. This movie was epic and I mean epic. It's the best out of the Narnia franchise and it's one of my favourite movies.
I will never forget Liam Neeson as the Lion. The fight with Peter and the White Witch was badass and the ending was emotionally rich and full of strong visuals where I just didn't want it to end. I wanted it to keep going sort of endless really.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe gets a 10/10.
