Review of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) by Matt M — 02 Feb 2013
Four kids travel to a magical world beyond their wardrobe and try to liberate it through the guidance of a lion. A difficult book to bring to life in a childish fable like way, and while the film remains true to the theological side as well as the plot of the book, it is also quite lukewarm and distant with a style that doesn't get much more compelling than its spectacular special effects allow it to be.
