The main problem with The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is the fact that relies on a fairly thin piece of children's source material. But it still contains enough visual splendor and a safe enough PG atmosphere to accomplish what it set out to do: create a magical war movie appropriate and wholesome for kids.
