The week the movie come out in theaters I saw it 3 times. Not because I loved it but 2 of my friends plus my family also wanted to see it and I saw the midnight premier, it just worked out that I went with them.
The movie felt a lot longer then it is. The story is good not great, its a from classic book by a great writer. The acting was good not great too, but that is what we get with most child actors. Of course the older actors did better than the yound ones, but nobody did a terrible job.
If you like the book, you should like the movie. But even those unfamiliar with the book should like it, the screenwriters do a great job setting the story up.
