It's not the best adventure film to be released, but it's certainly passable. The actors do a fine job, and the effects are pretty good. It's just a tad bit too predictable, and for me, it didn't really capture the magic of the books for me.
That said, the story is told pretty well regardless. It's almost impossible to screw up a C.S. Lewis tale. oh how I wish that were true.
