Didn't enjoy the first one of the movie series, and this one delves even further into the thinly veiled Christian theology that the series is known for. While I admire the attempt at originality, replayed via directing just as C.

S. Lewis tried while writing the stories, this will never hold a candle to similar fantasies like Lord of the Rings. The label "dark" is applied relative to the earlier movie, this movie will provide nothing intellectually engaging or "dark" compared even to a mediocre drama and tends to drudge along at a slow pace, even during the barely interesting battle scenes.

Keep your expectations low and you wont be disappointed in the theater.
