Review of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008) by Jesse B — 02 Apr 2012
Has its moments but overall pretty average. slow in the beginning and wanders a bit. Trys to finish big but kinda falls apart. Great visuals.
Surprisingly this 1 has alot of fighting and battle scenes to its credit, but.
Not nearly as epic as you might hope or expect. Its almost like Lord of the Rings for children.
Live action Disney films like this always have a highly imaginative premise and settings but tend to fall flat on executing a deep and memorable story.
I liked it better than its prequel, but I get the feeling it doesnt quite do the book justice. I think at times it trys too hard to be emotional. Also trys to include a romance but only teases the idea awkwardly.
Still its a fun little bedtime story.
