Review of The China Syndrome (1979) by Harminder S — 02 Sep 2009
Quite the engaging thriller. Jack Lemmon puts together a great performance and is supported by a strong cast around him. The lack of score in the movie meant that the direction and acting had to carry and heighten the tension of the scene which was done wonderfully.
The late 70s seemed to be the years where the media was the focus of a movie. Also it's very ironic that after this movie was released the Three Mile Island accident happened.
