Review of The Children's Hour (1961) by Sanity Assassin ! — 16 Nov 2007

This is a pretty good movie. i'd say shirley maclaine was the leading lady here with her... well enthralling performance, but she hasn't got bad support from audrey hepburn and james garner. it's a really sad story all brought about by a little girls spiteful nature.

I also think that shirley maclaine played one of the hottest lesbian parts i've ever seen in a movie. i'd plough that for a few years at least. why are lesbians hot? apart from the ones that conform to the general dyke look (short spikey hair, spacehoppers & bruises from beating each other up).

anyway, this has a memorable quote in it when maclaine screams "look i've got 8 fingers and 2 heads, see.... i'm a freak!". I thought that was great. yes, good solid film. good acting.

well done mr. director william wyler whoever you are..
