Review of The Children's Hour (1961) by Codie E — 15 Apr 2009
A very, very brave film at the time, dealing not only with homosexuality but involving children in proximity. The film does occassionally stray too far into melodrama (MacLaine's performance particularly) but is brilliant when focusing on Audrey Hepburn's quieter and more reserved character and her relationship with a perfectly judged James Garner.
