Review of The Children of Huang Shi (2008) by Marina T — 15 Feb 2009
All in all I thought this was a good movie. The ensemble cast was great, and the scenery was pretty. I know this is a true story, but interestingly enough...I feel this movie was shot very similar (in terms of story telling) to "The Painted Veil".
I did feel that the end lacked emotional connection, but makes up for it in a way in the credits.
