Review of The Children of Huang Shi (2008) by Wiebke K — 23 May 2009
The story of a British journalist who gets pushed into taking care of over 60 orphaned boys in war-torn China after he has seen what the Japanese are capable of. It is long, but worth watching. The children are great, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers is convincing in his change from journalist-adventurer to caring father figure.
Yun-Fat Chow is of course another reason to watch this movie.
