Review of The Children of Huang Shi (2008) by James G — 24 Jan 2010
A moving film following a young reporter who tricks his way into China during the Japanese occupation. What he finds isn't just a story but puts his life at risk. Good performances from Meyers, Chow Fat and Kolpakova give depth to the story.
Moving, gritty, tragic and uplifting - worth seeing.
