Review of The Center of the World (2001) by Little H — 10 Sep 2009
You can't buy love especially when it's stripper love because strippers who accept money agree that it's only business. So, when Sarsgaard's character asks Parker's character to go with him for 3 days to Las Vegas, you know that he's going to want more out this than just to spend some time with his favorite stripper.
She, of course, knows this and just doesn't see love out of, what she thinks, is just an arrangement. It's very depressing stuff, but well acted from the two leads: Peter Sarsgaard and Molly Parker.
They did a really great job.
