Review of The Cell (2000) by Aaron S — 14 Jun 2009
Few things could be more compelling than a life in danger and the only source of information is comatose. Though this was not well received, I believe it to be one of the unsung accomplishments in thrillers.
The artistic visions of special effects, makeup, costume, cinematography and set design make it the most visually interesting movie of its genre. The acting is original and unexpected (especially for Vaughn and Lopez) and as always D'Onofrio delivers a spectacular performance! I will happily watch this all alone if no one else will join me.
