Review of The Cell (2000) by Zombie M — 12 Jul 2011
The dream sequences are very surreal and very impressive to look at, which is pretty much all this movie is worth watching for. Most dream sequences are based off a piece of real artwork. The plot of the movie is interesting but the execution didn't completely work.
Jennifer Lopez is horribly miscast. The muscle tissue suits used to go into the dream worlds are some of the most gaudy designs created for a movie.
