Review of The Cell 2 (2009) by Da H — 24 Sep 2015
This may probably hurt.
Maya is a detective with the unique powers to see in a killer's mind. She obtained these powers after waking up from being in a coma for just over a year. She can see into a serial killer's head who calls himself The Cusp. The Cusp kills his victims and brings them back to life just so he can torture them some more. Can Maya partner with another detective to bring down The Cusp or will their mental connection just make her another victim?
"I am not afraid.".
Tim Lacofano, director of the television series 24, CSI: NY, The Traveler, Profiler, Supernatural, and Kingdom, delivers The Cell 2. The storyline for this picture is terrible and it has a very different feel and lower budget cast and special effects than the original. The acting stinks and the cast includes Tessie Santiago, Chris Bruno, Frank Whaley, and Amee Walden.
"We are going to talk about electricity.".
I recently came across this on HBOGO and decided to give it a shot. I thoroughly enjoyed the original and always thought I should give this a viewing...I thought wrong. This is barely like the original and less of a quality film in every way. I recommend skipping this...even for fans of the genre.
"I've been dead before.".
