Review of The Cars That Ate Paris (1974) by Nyk P — 18 Jul 2010
Very fun bit of Ozploitation. Most curious is that this trashy story of an outback town that creates car accidents on unsuspecting travelers (echos of "2000 Maniacs") is that it was directed by Peter Weir of "Dead Poets Society" fame.
Another fun bit is that the film included many familiar Australian actors of the time, including Bruce Spence, best know as the Gyro Captain in "The Road Warrior".
