Review of The Caretaker (2012) by Gimly M — 02 Jun 2016
Possessed of a beautiful (though poorly volume-mixed) score and a core concept peppered with originality, but suffers the pitfalls experience by almost any low budget film: Low quality acting, special effects & technical aspects.
Though on the acting front, I will admit that all of the surviving characters are played better and better as the film goes on, indicating that the scenes were probably shot more or less in order, and as the shoot progressed, so too did the novice actors' comfort with the piece.
