Review of The Call of Cthulhu (2006) by Kevin S — 17 Apr 2007
One of the best Lovecraft adaptations, this is an excellent way to tell a classic horror story; as a silent film. Somewhat similar to a Guy Maddin film, Cthulhu creates an atmosphere that oozes mystery and melodrama.
A great climax caps it all off, making this one of the more enjoyable "experimental" horror films I've ever seen.
