Review of The Call of Cthulhu (2006) by Alex H — 07 Jan 2012

Faithful and fun enough and features great effects, especially considering its obvious lack of backing. Still, I can't say this movie offers much beyond merely existing; it's about as paint-by-numbers as an adaptation can be. But Lovecraft fans should definitely check it out and support the effort.

PS - The death-by-angles moment actually worked, a lot better than I would have imagined it could have. That was great.
