Review of The Call (2013) by Sylvester K — 28 Dec 2014
The Call stars Halle Berry as Jordan, a 911 operator for LAPD, due to negligence, she accidentally caused the death of a young girl. Another emergency call got picked up and this time another girl is being captured by the same killer, it's up to Jordan to stop him.
Generic but nevertheless fun to watch, Berry's performance was enough to redeem the film but the addition of Eklund was even better. It started off strong but got a bit preposterous at the end. The Call hits and missed at the same time.
