Review of The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations (2009) by Mohamed H — 10 Apr 2009
You know how they say that girls like to hang out with ugly friends so they would look good compared to them? This is why I liked this movie. I felt horrible after watching the second one and I was expecting much of the same for this one, but I pretty much loved it, because it was way better than I expected. 2 things you should keep in mind going to see this move: First one - ignore everything you remember about the first one. Yeah, it was good and all, but comparing this one to the first will only flaw from its fun. The second one - there are some really confusing clues and storylines, so try to keep an open mind at all times (even after watching it, i'm still pretty much confused).
Basically, this movie is a about a jumper (like Ashton in the first one) who uses his ability to solve crimes. When he makes a mistake while going back, he creates a new reality with a serial killer. Now he has to fix the mess he made.
