Review of The Butterfly Effect (2004) by Diogo X — 11 Dec 2011
...something didn't work out. The first half of the movie is so painful to watch that I actually face-palmed a few times. The "Robin Hood tape scene" was so forced that it should be a crime. Plus awful, awful acting made me feel like quitting. Luckily for me, I am not a quitter.
The last half of the movie almost made up for the rotten beginning. The plot evolves nicely and while the ending could be better, it wasn't as bad as I expected.
If you are looking for a psycho-thriller, there are better ones (i.g. 'Donnie Darko'), but this one isn't as bad as you would expect it to be.
