A terrific, informative, and personal doc. I'm immensely grateful for the valuable footage of women who chose to have home births and the incredible process and the aftereffects. After the first live birth caught on screen, I was so taken aback I actually had to rewind and watch it again.
The mother looked so powerful, and transcended. But I wasn't prepared for the baby to come out - I've been conditioned to look for more screaming and crying. That particular woman's experience was incredible to see.
