Review of The Burning Plain (2008) by Ozzie C — 15 Mar 2010
As intricately intertwined as most of Guillermo Arriaga's scripts, the Burning Plain is set with several lines of stories on different axes of time, which may bring some criticisms or be considered to be unnecessary. But, my take on this is that I enjoy being pulled back and forth to feel the passing of time more profoundly.
When I was put on the cusp of these lines and saw the takes on the faces of these main characters in the end, I knew this was another film that was going to be embedded in my mind for good.
