Review of The Bucket List (2007) by Ryan D — 24 May 2011
I was expecting a Hallmark-ish movie, and of course the plot is straight out of the Hallmark guide, but it was actually quite cute. Basically Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman play their usual characters, with the exception that they have a year to live.
Jack has an endless supply of money, so they decide to live life to the fullest while they still can. I'm sure the movie also gets rated a little better than it actually is because brings up the fun question, what would you put on your own bucket list? The thing I liked least about the movie was the intro narration by Morgan Freeman.
I like him perfectly well as an actor, but he is just so completely overused as a narrator.
