Review of The Bucket List (2007) by Bradford Y — 06 May 2012
A motion picture in which I am actually sorry that Jack Nicholson goes knock, knock, knocking on Heaven's door is one very rare dead duck, indeed. Of course, alive or dead, Morgan Freeman, Jr.'s non-political presence is a welcome dominant force.
Sean Hayes, as Nicholson's gives-as-well-as-takes administrative assistant is right on the mark. A strong supporting cast more than keeps up with an outstanding Nicholson, Freeman and Hayes. Script, photography, directing and editing are almost as tightly wrapped.
This one is definitely a keeper.
