Review of The Brown Bunny (2003) by Phil R — 04 Aug 2007

I love buffalo 66 and chloe sevigny so I thought this would be a great nab. well I was all on board for the first bit of the movie. but it just seemed like nothing was happening. I mean don't get me wrong thats one thing I adore about some movies, I love character sketches, which this movie is, just a movie about a person not about a series of events.

character not plot. but I hated this character. I hated everything about him. I haven't seen a movie with a main character i've hated this much since the squid and the whale. the only pay off was after the big explicit scene when chloe mumbles "i hate you" twice.

and that was it. I just don't think the pay off was good enough. I was left wanting more.
