Ever since Howard Hughes got his hands a camera, minimalism was doomed in America. Americans absolutely hate minimalism and therefore they will hate The Brown Bunny. It's a beautiful picture, with beautiful songs.
A reflection on lost love and the pain of loneliness, its subtly will undoubtly be lost on most viewers. A great film.
