The Brothers Grimm is an imaginative, creative, and enchanting fable from Terry Gilliam, the visionary director of Brazil and Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas. It tells the story of traveling con-artists Will and Jake Grimm who dazzle small towns with their imaginative folklore and elaborate illusions. When the brothers journey into a real enchanted forest, they encounter a genuine fairy-tale with fantastic characters and thrilling situations much like the stories they have made up.

Heath Ledger brings his innocent and boyish charm to his character, which I have said in the past is exactly what makes his films so enjoyable and successful. Ledger had an acting ability that cannot be compared to anyone else, he is completely unique and always makes every characters he portrays his own. Heath Ledger is one of the most compelling and enjoyable actors in cinematic history, and he will never be forgotten.

Matt Damon is an actor I have always liked and his performance is phenomenal. He and Ledger have a delightful chemistry with one another. Damon is fun and has never disappointed me, I enjoy nearly all of his films simply because he's a very enjoyable actor with a genuine charm.

Terry Gilliam is considered one of the most imaginative and creative filmmakers the world has ever seen, and I have to agree. Gilliam is a superb director whose body of work is truly breathtaking. He is a director who is so unique, you cannot compare him to anyone else. He basically created his own genre with Brazil, Fear and Loathing, and The Holy Grail, not to mention the many other films he has made that were just as impressive and original. Terry Gilliam is a director everyone should appreciate, he is so unlike anyone else.

The Brothers Grimm is simply a wildly entertaining and thrilling fable with phenomenal visual affects and a fun story. Heath Ledger and Matt Damon are wonderful together and the supporting performances are a delight. Lena Headey is terrific, Peter Stormare is incredible, and Monica Bellucci is exceptional. However, Heath Ledger is always the show-stealer in every film he's in. The Brothers Grimm is a lot of fun and one of the most enjoyable and entertaining films I have ever seen. I enjoyed everything about this film immensely, its a wonderful and delightful fable. The Brothers Grimm is a spectacular film...
