Visually fascinating, but incoherent. Wanted to really like this more than I do, and think I would if it was more intelligible.Fantastically magical and yet gritty. Anachronisms are fun, but there seems to be little rhyme or reason in it.
If the director and slowed the pace just a bit and allowed his actors to do more than scrabble around frantically and babble cryptically, it would have been a masterpiece.
