Review of The Brothers Bloom (2008) by Nikita G — 24 Jan 2010

Rian johnson is a very versatille director. this film is quite different from brick, taking on influences from jean pierre jeunet and wes anderson. weisz' character penelope reminds me of amelie. I personally enjoyed the film, but it did get quite disjointed towards the end.

i'm still trying to figure out what exactly happened; I was expecting a more lighthearted ending, but that didn't happen. still, it was good, but not without flaws.
