At times almost unbearably hard to watch, this film is nevertheless a beautiful and expertly made and acted melodrama.
It's got one hell of a hot soundtrack seeing it through its narrative beats. Not a film I'd watch again due to the sheer sorrow of the material but a strong film all around.
