A great fuckin movie! This is absolutely hilarious, and I highly recommend everyone to watch it.
The first part of the movie is the true, classic Unstoppable Force vs Immovable Object concept, which then mutates seamlessly into hilarious bridge-building schenangians with the second part of the main plot coming in completely from left field. The only movie I've ever seen where two good guys are successfully pitted against each other by the writers despite a clear common enemy.
A masterpiece of filmmaking, and I'm pretty sure it might be the first dark comedy ever made. This is the earliest one I've seen.
Mention must be made of the acting, because it is so far from some of the wooden, same-old performances that dominated early filmmaking. Even the side characters aren't throwaways, and they don't get in the way of the action, which is a difficult balance to find.
A film that I'm happy I've watched.
