Great movie about the madness of war. Good story about extremes of both good and evil with William Holden playing foil to all the madness.
Good story good action and beautifully photographed with that famous Lean touch.
Stand out performances by Guinness and Hawkins as duty driven British officers intent on being proper British soldiers no matter what the cost.
