Review of The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957) by William E — 01 Nov 2010
An amazing classic that deserved all the awards it got. Alec Guinness delivers probably the best performance of the film with strong support from William Holden and Sessue Hayakawa. The final scene is probably the most intense war movie scene of the twentieth century.
