Review of The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957) by Andrew C — 03 Mar 2011
Personally, I feel this film is overrated atleast a bit. No doubt there is great cinematography, classic performances, and an ideal climax. Another incredible thing about this film is a serious shortage of dull moments.
This is a remarkable achievement. But I don't get why people compare this to Lawrence of Arabia, the epic of epics? This film is definitely not as hard hitting as Lawrence of Arabia?
