This is fantastic sprawling grande epic from the living legend, Sir David Lean. A tribute to Lean's treble glory beside, Lawrence of Arabia and Doctor Zhivago. Beautiful directing and extraordinary World War II story, and accompanied by brilliant score.
William Holden and Alec Guinness gives an amazing performances. Bridge on the River Kwai is my most Lean's favorite. Absolutely full five, Masterpiece!!!
