Good performances, filmed well. But overly long for the plot. I don't mind a long film if the plot can carry it, but found myself switching off. Maybe this is because I knew how it ended so the suspense was missing for me.
Compared to David Lean's best effort, 'Lawrence of Arabia', it isn't in the same ball park.
